Brandon Dorris is a multi-instrumentalist in the Little Rock area. Brandon has been a fixture on the local scene for 20 years, often seen performing with his own groups (Twice Sax, Brandon Dorris Trio/Quartet), the Real Band, Clyde Pound's ATM Band, Big John Miller Band, and the Tom Tiratto Orchestra. Brandon is in demand as a pit musician for the Arkansas Repertory Theater, Argenta Community Theater, Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, as well as nationally touring shows like The Rat Pack is Back, High School Musical: The Broadway Tour, Chicago: The National Tour, Motown, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. Brandon has shared the stage with the Temptations, Wayne Newton, Johnny Mathis, Natalie Cole, Jon Faddis, The Four Tops, The Kings of R&B, Patti Austin, Ann Hampton Calloway, and many others.
Brandon studied saxophone with Jackie Lamar at the University of Central Arkansas, and left to tour and work on cruise ships before completing a degree. After a 10-year hiatus, Brandon enrolled at UA Little Rock and completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Improvisation, studying with Tom Richeson.

TEaching
Brandon has taught privately in and around Little Rock for many years. His students have won positions in All Region and All State Concert Bands and Jazz Bands and have been accepted into music programs at universities around the country. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Jazz Saxophone at the University of Central Arkansas.
